Kellie's wealth of experience and skill as a negotiator has brought her widespread industry recognition, including a berth as finalist in the Telstra Business Women Awards in 2009 and being acknowledged as one of Western Australia's most outstanding business people at the 40Under40 awards in 2010. Kellie also led the company as a finalist in the Telstra Business Awards in 2009.

Kellie founded KHC in 2002 with a vision of building a company that produces the best results when negotiating agreements that work between industry and Traditional Owners.

Her passion is negotiating and she has negotiated dozens of agreements for exploration, mining and infrastructure companies across Australia, with a particular focus on Western Australia's resource hub around Port Hedland and the Pilbara, as well as Queensland and the Northern Territory.

She has a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University, although she does not practice as a lawyer. Kellie chairs the Aboriginal Affairs Committee of the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC), as well as being on the Board of Councillors.
